Just as people are driven by their value systems, so is every church driven by its values. At Family Life Church we are constantly examining our core values. They define what is important to us and determine our course of action. Some of our core values include:
We are committed to prayer. Without a solid foundation of prayer that supports every aspect of the church’s ministry, we become no more than a civic organization or a social club. We are totally dependent on God for guidance and blessing, as we seek to follow his will for our ministry. FLC started with prayer and continues to see prayer as its foundation.
We value worship. Attending worship should be the highlight of our week. Our worship services will be inspiring, refreshing, and uplifting, as we seek to bring the worshipper out of the cares of the world and into the presence of Almighty God
We are an outreach church. God loves those who are not yet members of His family. He is actively seeking them out. We will join with Him in his pursuit of the lost. We will be purposeful and relevant in communicating the Good News of Jesus to our culture.
We treasure fellowship. The loving fellowship of a “church family” is a vital key to our ministry to each other and our community. We are called by God to “belong” not just believe. We will build great relationships with God and one another through small group ministries.
We believe in building people. A church’s most valuable asset is its people. We are committed to being and making disciples who live out successful Christian lifestyles.
We encourage service. Every believer is gifted for service in God’s Kingdom. We will train, equip, encourage and release people for ministry. Our goal is to help every person find significance and purpose in life through participation in a higher cause, the building of the Kingdom of God.
